Third Field Experience

10.26.11

“Who are your learners?” and “What is the life of a student like in your school?”

Missed this day due to Tonsillectomy post-op complications.

Even though I was not present, from being at the school the learners are truly a diverse group of children. There are many children who are non-Canadian born which creates a strong diversity in the school. To the children, this is completely normal and does not seem to create any "outsiders". The life of a student in the school is non-stop energy, which every period is planned out by the teachers which creates no "down" time. The students all seem happy and to enjoy school.

Refer to "Days I Missed: Answering the questions."

  1. I know you've had a tough time with your tonsillectomy but you are still able to expand on this entry based on your other days in the field.
